About the department
Eye health is essential to quality of life. If not treated early, some eye diseases can progress and cause permanent damage, including loss of vision. That is why regular eye examinations and detecting possible eye diseases before they progress are so important. Healthy people should have an eye screening once a year, and anyone with an eye complaint should be examined by the Ophthalmology Department.
